Job Title: Network Engineer

Location: Chicago, IL

Summary: A fast growing global trading firm is looking to add a Network Engineer to join their Information Technology team.  The location is in the Chicago Board of Trade building, conveniently situated close to public transportation.

This is Network Engineer opportunity.  You will be part of the team that builds, manages and supports the technical infrastructure for the organization.  You can expand your technical skills and grow your career.  This is a great opportunity to join a company that is growing fast and has a very bright future.  This is a full time permanent opportunity; with a base pay range of $70,000 to $80,000.  Our client offers a bonus paid quarterly and has a very generous benefits package.  You must know CICSO and VPN technologies for this position.

Qualified candidates will have;

·         Solid understanding of CISCO and VPN

·         5 to 7 years of network experience

·         Experience with network provisioning, OC3s and Metro Ethernet

·         Bachelor’s degree required

·         CCNA is a plus, but not required

·         Ability to get the job done on time

·         Good communication and teamwork skills

·         Knowledge of financial terms is a plus

·         Valid US Passport

Responsibilities of this position;

·         Support the existing network and technical infrastructure

·         Plan for network growth and monitor capacity

·         Provide 7 x 24 support as needed in a 2^nd or 3^rd level capacity

·         Willingness to accept new challenges and learn on the job in a fast paced environment

·         International travel is very possible, must be open to travel

·         Work with the team to accomplish the organization’s goals
